Thank you for taking the time to view my webpage.
I have practiced in the field of psychology since graduating in 1981 with a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and was licensed as a psychologist in 1983. In 2003, I was awarded a PhD. in Clinical Psychology from the Fielding Graduate University. I have provided therapy to a range of adult clientele in a number of settings for most of my career.
Teaching and training have also been central to my identity as a psychologist. I find great joy in participating in the professional and personal development and growth of both both current and future therapists and psychologists. While I have taught courses over the years in a variety of areas such as human sexuality and forensics, I have consistently taught ethics classes to aspiring therapists and psychologists for the last 20 years.
While I have retired from being a therapist and a full time professor, I remain engaged in the field. I retain my status as an Adjunct Professor in the Clinical Psychology Program at Augsburg University and continue to provide individualized training and consultation to therapists. Most recently I joined a committee that is rewriting ethics questions for for doctoral level psychology graduates ethics examination question
